As a partner of Donau Versicherung we offer the "Donau Aktiv – identifying risk factors" check, which policyholders can use every two years. It extends the basic examination by two ultrasound screenings, so that health risk factors can be identified early and prevented in a targeted way.

Where the entitlement exists, the check can be carried out every two years. The voucher can be requested directly from Donau Versicherung.

Examinations

Laboratory findings

Clinical examination by a doctor
height and weight, BMI, blood pressure, palpation of the abdomen and thyroid, listening to lungs and heart, dental and gum status, ears (check of the ear canal)
Vaccination record check
standard vaccinations can be given straight away on request (vaccines are in stock)
In addition to the basic block you can choose two of the following modules:
Upper abdomen & kidney ultrasound
Examination of the abdominal organs and relevant blood values for early detection of changes such as cysts, gallstones or kidney stones.
Carotid ultrasound
Measurement of the carotid artery wall for early detection of vascular deposits – particularly useful with risk factors such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol.
Arterial screening
Determines your risk of heart attack and stroke – painless, with a written evaluation and personal consultation.
Venous screening
Painless screening examination that analyses venous return flow
Cardiac ultrasound
Ultrasound of the heart, early detection of heart muscle and heart valve disease
Exercise ECG (ergometry)
The exercise ECG shows how your heart, pulse and blood pressure behave under physical exertion. It serves to assess your fitness and to detect possible cardiovascular disease early. The results form the basis for medical recommendations tailored to you.
