May I drink anything before the blood sample?

It is important that you come to the blood sample fasting, as your blood values could otherwise be distorted. Water or unsweetened tea are fine, however.

How long does the preventive check take?

Please allow 15 minutes for the blood sample and about one hour for the examination appointment.

Do I have to fast before the examination appointment?

Accepted Answer

That depends on the time of day and the modules planned. The upper abdominal ultrasound is part of the basic block and therefore always included.If your appointment is in the morning, a very light breakfast (wholemeal bread, yoghurt, a banana) is fine — without coffee.For appointments from midday onwards, please do not eat anything for four hours beforehand

What do I need to bring to the examination appointment?

Please bring the completed medical history form and the stool test (you receive both at the blood sample appointment) as well as sports shoes and sportswear to the examination appointment. Showers with towels, a hairdryer and so on are available.

Question 5

Do I have to send in or hand over the stool test beforehand?

Accepted Answer

Please bring the stool sample on the day of the examination. Note that, as described on the envelope, the test takes three days and the finished sample should not be older than seven days.If you cannot complete the test before the examination appointment, you can hand the sample in later.
