Your annual preventive check

The UNIQA Vorsorgeprogramm combines the statutory preventive examination with additional examinations that social insurance does not cover. This makes your annual check considerably more thorough, so that possible conditions and risk factors can be found and treated early.

Combining the statutory preventive examination (available every 12 months) with the UNIQA preventive check covers the following examinations:

Examinations

Laboratory findings
discussion and evaluation; the results are handed over in a findings folder
Medical history
discussion of existing complaints or conditions, family history, medication, and questions about lifestyle: nutrition, exercise, smoking, stress and alcohol consumption
Clinical examination by a doctor
height and weight, BMI, blood pressure, palpation of the abdomen and thyroid, listening to lungs and heart, dental and gum status, ears (check of the ear canal)
Vaccination record check
standard vaccinations can be given straight away on request (vaccines are in stock)
Resting ECG
Assessment of heart activity, for example for arrhythmia
Lung function
Assessment of lung capacity, early detection of limitations and disease – lung function measured with an ultrasound sensor
Upper abdomen & kidney ultrasound
Examination of the abdominal organs and relevant blood values for early detection of changes such as cysts, gallstones or kidney stones.
Closing consultation
information on any further steps or examinations and personal advice on nutrition and lifestyle.

How it works

Where the entitlement exists, the check within the Vorsorgeprogramm can be carried out once a year, building on the statutory preventive examination.

2. Contact UNIQA

Your entitlement* is checked, the cost coverage approved and forwarded to us.
Where the entitlement exists, the UNIQA Vorsorgeprogramm can be used in every calendar year.

3. Blood sample

Blood sample and urine test are taken; you receive the container for the stool sample.

4. Examination/check

The basic examination and the optional modules are carried out and the results discussed.
