Screeninguntersuchungen – Risikofaktoren erkennen
Arterial screening
Arterial screening determines your personal risk of heart attack and stroke. After the painless screening examination you also receive a written evaluation and advice on any further steps that may be useful.
Exercise ECG (ergometry)
Ergometry allows your physical performance to be examined under exertion and potential risk factors to be identified. Testing on the bicycle ergometer can reveal the following risk factors: high blood pressure (exercise hypertension), heart disease, impaired blood flow to the heart
Carotid ultrasound
The carotid ultrasound measures the wall of the carotid artery (intima). Its thickness indicates whether deposits have formed in the vessel. The examination is aimed above all at patients with elevated cholesterol, high blood pressure or a family history, and makes preventive countermeasures possible.
Skin screening
Preventive skin examination substantially reduces the risk of developing melanoma and suffering its late effects. Skin screening includes an expert assessment and clinical examination of all moles using a dermatoscope. Where anything conspicuous is found, patients are referred to a dermatologist so that further steps can be taken.
Cardiac ultrasound
The heart is examined painlessly with an ultrasound device (colour Doppler sonography). Alongside the resting ECG, this is the most important method for assessing the structure and function of the heart. Where symptoms or suspected diagnoses exist, the examination is part of the standard work-up; in prevention it is a meaningful module for detecting cardiovascular disease in good time.
Lung function
Assessment of lung function and lung volume, early detection of changes, limitations and disease such as reduced lung volume, asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Includes measurement of blood oxygen saturation.
Upper abdomen & kidney ultrasound
Examination of the structure of the organs in the upper abdomen (liver, gall bladder, pancreas, spleen, kidney and abdominal aorta) together with relevant blood values. This allows changes such as cysts, gall bladder and bile duct stones or kidney stones to be detected in good time and treated where necessary.
Resting ECG
The resting ECG is the basic examination in cardiology. It records the sum of the electrical activity of all heart muscle fibres and allows heart rate, heart rhythm and cardiac axis to be determined. No preparation is required. The examination is painless and, depending on the device, recording the traces takes only a very short time.
Thyroid sonography – follow-up
Relevant blood values together with an ultrasound examination of the thyroid, which is checked for tissue changes. The examination is also important for investigating functional disorders and for follow-up after thyroid surgery.
Venous screening
Venous screening is a painless examination that analyses venous return flow and allows varicose veins and thromboses to be detected early.
Labordiagnostik
Bowel cancer screening
ImmoCare-C is an immunological test and thus a considerably improved method for detecting invisible blood in the stool. The test uses specific antibodies to trace the red blood pigment. This allows bowel cancer and its precursors as well as other abnormalities to be detected.
PSA value
The PSA value (prostate-specific antigen) is well established as a tumour marker. From the age of 50 it is covered by social insurance and therefore free of charge.
Antibody titre
The following titres can be determined: hepatitis A, hepatitis B, tick-borne encephalitis (TBE). The price applies per individual titre.
Vitamin D
Your vitamin D status is measured.
Laborblöcke
Early diabetes detection
Laboratory values measured: BUN, CRP, total protein, GOT, GPT, HbA1c, HOMA index, insulin resistance, creatinine, lipoprotein(a)
Immune system
Laboratory values measured: BUN, calcium, cortisol, complete iron status, folic acid, total protein, GOT, GPT, IgG, IgA, IgE, IgM, CRP, sodium, creatinine, magnesium, vitamin B12, vitamin D, zinc
Early thyroid detection
Laboratory values measured: TSH, fT3, fT4, TPO, TAK, vitamin D, vitamin B12, folic acid, iron status, selenium, magnesium
Sports blood parameters
Laboratory values measured: calcium, electrophoresis, myoglobin, magnesium, sodium, zinc, TSH and iron status, cystatin C, total protein, kidney values (creatinine, BUN), vitamin B12, folic acid
Vegan/vegetarian diet
The vegan/vegetarian diet laboratory panel is a specially tailored blood test that targets those nutrients in which a plant-based diet more frequently leads to deficiencies.
Screeninguntersuchungen – Gesunder Lebensstil
Heart and stress screening
The Cardio Scan determines your individual stress level from heart rate variability, shows your fitness level and establishes your personal training pulse range.
Body composition analysis
Bioimpedance analysis provides a precise analysis of your body composition (muscle mass, body fat, water balance and more) and thus a picture of your current nutritional and training condition.
Metabolic analysis
The Metabolic Scan allows a precise analysis of your metabolism by measuring your breathing air. Find out how your body metabolises fats and carbohydrates and gain valuable information for nutrition, training and better health.
Spinal screening
A computer-assisted system for functional spinal analysis. It provides precise data on the posture, mobility and muscular stabilising capacity of the spine. The results are illustrated with easy-to-read graphics, and the device report includes matching exercises for you to take home.
